Ellen Barkin stars in the 2011 Sundance Award winning dark comedy Another Happy Day, which follows a woman who returns to her parent’s home for a family wedding. Rather than a weekend of celebration, Lynn (Barkin) and her wildly dysfunctional family begin the weekend fueled by impassioned gossip and absurd antics. She must deal with a long-simmering feud with her ex-husband Paul (Thomas Hayden Church) and his hot-tempered wife (Demi Moore), the disdain of her cold mother (Ellen Burstyn) and distant father (George Kennedy) and the ridicule of her ever-judgmental sisters. By her side are her light-hearted husband and her three restless children (Ezra Miller, Daniel Yelsky, Kate Bosworth). Barely able to hold onto her sanity, emotionally vulnerable Lynn manages to weave through the mayhem and surface with her family intact.
