Can a film change the world? Or better yet, can a film inspire an audience to change the world? Using film as an avenue for social change has been gaining momentum in Hollywood over the last few years with films such as An Inconvenient Truth and Waiting for Superman. Panelists will discuss how social action and film can have a profound impact on the world today. Panelists include celebrated documentary producer Lesley Chilcott (An Inconvenient Truth and Waiting for Superman) and Senior Vice President, Participant Media, Lynn Hirshfield (Last Call at the Oasis, Food Inc.)
