ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Rachel Morrison is a director and cinematographer who has built an extensive body of work channeling each story’s core narrative into arresting imagery and dynamic emotion. Morrison became the first woman ever nominated for the Academy Award for Best Cinematography for her work on Mudbound. Her other cinematography work includes Ryan Coogler’s Fruitvale Station and Black Panther. She has also directed episodes of The Morning Show, The Mandalorian, and Hightown.
