Signature Screenings
Oppenheimer
Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, Oppenheimer is an IMAX-shot epic thriller that thrusts audiences into the pulse-pounding paradox of the enigmatic man who must risk destroying the world to save it. The story of American scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer and his role in the development of the atomic bomb, the film — presented in special 35mm format — is a stunning, sprawling, and transfixing biopic, and a towering feat of filmmaking best experienced on the big screen.
Director of Photography Hoyte van Hoytema will be presented with the Variety Creative Impact in Cinematography Award. A Q&A with van Hoytema, moderated by Variety senior artisans editor Jazz Tangcay, will immediately follow the screening.
