Thirteen Lives recounts the incredible true story of the global effort to rescue a Thai soccer team trapped in a cave after an unexpected rainstorm. Faced with insurmountable odds, a team of the world's most skilled and experienced divers join with Thai forces and more than 10,000 volunteers to attempt a harrowing rescue of the 12 boys and their coach.

About the director
From his acting debut at less than two years old to becoming an Oscar-winning director behind some of Hollywood's most beloved films, Ron Howard has long enjoyed legendary status on both sides of the camera. As an actor, Howard is known for his roles in The Journey, The Music Man, The Andy Griffith Show, American Graffiti, and Happy Days. As a director, he is best known for Splash, Parenthood, Apollo 13, Cinderella Man, The Da Vinci Code, Frost/Nixon, Solo: A Star Wars Story, and A Beautiful Mind, which earned Howard Best Picture and Best Director Academy Awards.
