Gala Screenings
The Zone of Interest
The commandant of Auschwitz, Rudolf Höss, and his wife Hedwig strive to build a dream life for their family in a house and garden located next to the concentration camp. Master of formalism Jonathan Glazer's chilling and precise study of the banality of evil, winner of the Grand Prix at this year's Cannes Film Festival, dares us to look inside our capacity for indifference and does not let go — even long after the credits roll.
Presented in German and Polish with English subtitles.
