FX and Hulu’s The Lowdown follows the gritty exploits of citizen journalist Lee Raybon (Ethan Hawke), a self-proclaimed Tulsa “truthstorian” whose obsession with the truth is always getting him into trouble. As season two begins, Lee’s wildly unfiltered acceptance speech grabs the attention of beautiful, brash public defender Ginger (Betty Gilpin), herself a crusader for truth. When one of her clients goes MIA from the state penitentiary, the situation turns out to have all of Lee’s favorite ingredients: power, corruption, and malfeasance among the wealthy elite. Things on the homefront get even more complicated when Lee’s estranged, grifter father unexpectedly arrives in town.

Actor and executive producer Ethan Hawke and creator, executive producer, writer, and director Sterlin Harjo will be presented with the Outstanding Collaboration in Television Award. An In Conversation event with Hawke and Harjo immediately follows the screening.
