Sirât

France/Spain
| 115 min.

The glorious and forbidding Moroccan desert provides the backdrop for this extraordinary psychological journey from Oliver Laxe, a sensory experience of audacity and shock about a middle-aged father (Sergi López) searching for his missing daughter. Winning a Jury Prize at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, Sirât is a visceral and mystical vision that explosively and hypnotically pushes cinematic limits. A Neon release.
